The BellaVita Veteran's Organization (BVVO) was formed on Veterans' Day 2004.
Membership in the BVVO is open to all BellaVita residents who are veterans, having served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Corps/Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, or U.S. Coast Guard.
MISSION:
1. Provide current information to its membership on local, state, and national veteran's programs, issues and events, in the BVVO meetings and through presentations and seminars.
2. Provide support to our armed forces and to fellow veterans and their families, within and without the BellaVita community.
3. Schedule field trips to military museums and other activities of interest to our members.
4. Initiate projects as the ongoing "FLAGS OF BELLAVITA PROJECT", and maintain the BellaVita Clubhouse flags and flagpoles.
5. Continue a Beareavement Fund that provides flowers or memorials for the families of BellaVita residents who pass away, given in the name of the entire BellaVita community.
6. Provide funds for community improvement projects.
7. Participate, with other BellaVita clubs and organizations, in social events open to the community.
