ATTENTION RESIDENTS: PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE
Please note feeding the wildlife could be a violation of ordinance and can create a large problem for the overall health and safety of our community. City of Pearland ordinace can be found on www.pearlandtx.gov under "I Want To", scroll down to "Municipal Code of Ordinances". Under Chapter 6 (Animals and Fowl) please refer to Sec. 6-18 (restrictions on keeping wild animals) and Sec. 6-19 (attractive environment for unconfined animals.) State Law under Texas Parks and Wildlife also addresses the feeding of wildlife. Please refrain from feeding any wildlife and if you have questions please refer to the City of Pearland for more information.

ATTENTION RESIDENTS:
The police in Pearland have issued an alert that is on the internet.
"Two individuals are in Pearland posing as tree trimmers from the city willing to trim your trees for free if they can go into your back yard. They are actually robbers and will try to keep you at the front door while one goes in your house via the back door. DO NOT let them in your yard."

FRONT DOOR MAINTENANCE
Your HOA dues includes having your front door maintained every two years. This means the door will be lightly sanded with a light coat of spar varnished applied. A new weather strip at the bottom of the door is included if needed. This will help protect your door. However, if you postpone having the work performed and the door had to be refinished (not just maintained), the HOA will only cover a portion of the total cost of $350. You will be responsible for a portion of the refinishing, depending on whether or not you need a weather strip. We will pay a maximum of $130(the cost to the HOA of a normal maintenance including a weather strip) and you will be responsible for the rest. So it will pay to have the work done every two years-and you are entitled to it. Call the Front Desk (281)464-3150 and ask to have a Work Order made for "Door Maintenance" if it's been two years since it has been done.
