| The BellaVita Veteran's Organization (BVVO) was formed on Veterans' Day 2004.
MISSION STATEMENT OF "THE BELLAVITA VETERAN’S ORGANIZATION"
MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the BellaVita Veteran’s Organization(BVO) is open to all BellaVita residents who are active military or veterans who have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force or U.S. Coast Guard, as well as any U.S. Merchant Mariners from WWII.
MISSION:
- Provide current information to its membership on local, state, and national veterans programs, military issues, and related events at the BVO meetings, through presentations and seminars.
- Provide support and aid to our Armed Forces, and to fellow veterans and their families.
- Schedule field trips to military installations, museums, and other areas of interest to our members.
- Care for and maintain BellaVita clubhouse flags and flagpoles.
- Initiate and continue projects such as the ongoing "Flags of BellaVita" and the "BellaVita Memorial Garden".
- Provide funds, as deemed necessary for community improvements projects in BellaVita.
- Participate, with other BellaVita clubs and organizations, in social events and activities open to the community.

The BellaVita Veteran’s Organization normally meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the BellaVita Clubhouse.

The "FLAGS OF BELLAVITA PROJECT" is an ongoing activity of the BellaVita Veterans. The purpose of this Project is to promote patriotism and display our flag(s), while creating an attractive, festive atmosphere in our community during selected national holidays. Flags will be erected in common areas and in each participating resident's yard on six holidays each year. Our veterans will store and maintain the flags, and replace them as needed.
